Mission Statement

The mission of the Clearwater Beach Chamber of Commerce is to promote and position Clearwater Beach as the premier tourist destination and to be the advocate and resource center for the development and success of our membership, as well as the entire community.

Chairman's Message

"I am thrilled to be your new Chairman of the Clearwater Beach Chamber of Commerce.  If you attended our Annual Breakfast in December, you got a little dose of my mission - be the best you can be, participate and be present when you do, and have fun!  That's the basis of my message.  Thanks to Frank Dame, our immediate Past Chairman, the Chamber is in fantastic shape for me to assume my new role.  I have big shoes to fill (literally and figuratively) and I am up for the challenge.  With the help of a dedicated Board of Directors, a fantastic Chamber Staff and, of course, all of our volunteers, we will continue to do great things for the beach and it's commerce.  We have the best sand, it's true...but we also have the best businesses for our visitors to enjoy.  This is what makes us the Best Beach!  I look forward to seeing all of you around town and all of our many wonderful events...don't forget to Mingle!"

About Clearwater Gas:

  • CLEARWATER GAS SYSTEM (CGS) is owned and operated as an enterprise utility by the City of Clearwater and operates over 800 miles of underground gas main and handles the supply and distribution of both Natural and Propane (LP) gas throughout northern Pinellas County and western Pasco County.  CGS provides gas appliance sales and service, construction and maintenance of underground gas mains and service lines, and 24 hour response to any gas emergency call within the service area.

  • Shephard’s 300 seat waterfront restaurant Ocean Flame is the only buffet style seafood and prime rib with an interactive kitchen on the Beach.
  • The second Tower was completed in 2013, boosting 90 new modern rooms and a 7,000 square foot tropical pool terrace.
  • Shephard’s Tiki Bar and Wave Night have become one of the most famous venues for local and national acts on the West Coast of Florida.
  • Nearly every weekend there is a wedding being performed at the waterside of the resort.  Meetings and catered events for 20-2000 people, can be held in various locations inside and outside.
